This is a page from a check stubs book with only the check stubs remaining of the Third National Bank in Nashville from the period of January 25, 1962 to August 26, 1962.

On February 5, 1962, Jim sent a check for $10.00 for membership to the Country Music Association,  and paid diesel fuel for his bus with two checks.

The check stubs book is very much like a precious and informative diary. One can trace his business affairs and the checks sent to the American Federation of Musicians. One can trace when and where he and his band 'The Blue Boys' performed while on tour in the USA.

From auction listings on ebay, it is known that several of these check stubs books exist, but it is unknown if the information from these were ever shared with the fans.
