Tommy Hill Has Passed Away

 

One of Nashville great record producers and record execs has passed away. Tommy Hill  who ran Starday Record so many years and has continued to produce records over the past several years, passed away at the age of 72 on Thursday Mach 21,  at 11:50 PM. The cause of death is unknown yet. The funeral was on  Sunday March 24, at 2pm.

Tommy Hill was among other things a former member of Jim Reeves' Wagonmasters, the predecessor of the BLUE BOYS.

Arie den Dulk interviewed Tommy last November  in the former Starday Studio near Nashville. That interview will be published in the July issue of the fan club magazine.
